Genesis 17-22
– Abraham: Originally named Abram (Genesis 17). His name means “father of many.”
– Sarah: Originally named Sarai (Genesis 17). Her name means “princess.”
– Ishmael: Son of Abraham and Hagar.
– Isaac: The son of Abraham and Sarah, whose name means “laughter.” God blessed Sarah and Abraham with Isaac, fulfilling His promise.
– Test of Faith: God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac to test his obedience and love. Abraham passed the test, pleasing the Lord.
– Lesson: The story teaches the importance of loving and obeying God regardless of the circumstances.
